We have already heard the horror stories about employers threatening to put a hold on hiring or reducing employee hours to avoid having to provide healthcare. But is there another more insidious movement amongst certain employers to condemn the Affordable Healthcare Act? The other day I was speaking with a local government official and he explained that their employee health insurance premiums had risen significantly and the reason given was the Affordable Care Act. A friend of mine who works at a manufacturing facility said that their insurance premiums are rising as well and again one of the reasons cited was the Affordable Health Care Act. So, I am just wondering since the law has not fully kicked in yet, what is going on? Are these the companies that put all their money on Mitt Romney and now they are making sure we pay for electing President Obama? Are they posturing themselves so the company will incur no losses while kicking and screaming foul all the way to the bank? If so, then they are even more deplorable than those employers that just came out and honestly said what they were going to do. There is nothing more dangerous than a wolf in sheep's clothing.
