I have been listening to the pundits in disbelief this morning--I cannot believe they are praising Mitt Romney for a one-night stand.

Mitt Romney is best known to us as the man who cannot speak off the cuff without making a huge gaffe.  If you think I am exaggerating then just look at the Mitt Romney headlines over the past 18 months.

For the last few weeks we have seen little of Romney as he has been behind closed doors preparing for one of two debates with the President.  If my high school child took several weeks off and prepared for a debate, she too could give a pretty good performance.  Its as if he was a student getting ready for a part in play and he did a great job.  My question is:"Can we as a country afford to have a President who must have weeks to rehearse in order to not to say the wrong thing?"  I don't think so. This is not a play, this is our country.
