I live in Georgia and the food stamp levels are through the roof!  Our smart governor cut the personnel in this program and people can now apply online.  People who have never applied for food stamps are doing so and guess what--they're neighbors don't know.  Kind of like what we have been hearing on the business side--the same folks knocking the government are using goverment loans in their businesses.  So, back to the food stamps....everything is done electronically and it certainly opens the door to more fraud.  In essence what did out Republican governor and his cohorts do...they cut the food stamp worker jobs and increased the number of people getting food stamps--legitimately and fraudently.  Kinda reminds you of how they cut all the banking regulations and we end up with a housing and banking mess.  And, of course those people that lost their jobs during this GOP-made mess just might be needing food stamps as well.  Don't lay that mess at President Obama's steps.
